Lincecum v. Halladay.
Hmmmm, I am fine with the Lincecum pick. I don't think anyone doubts that he is probably the best pitcher in the NL. With all due respect to Dan Haren, Lincecum is showing up his Sophomore year effort with an even more disgusting season this year. Maybe Haren should have started because to date he is having the better season, but this is a coin flip. I am trying not to let my man crush on Timmy influence what I write but I cannot help it. I bleeping love the guy.
However, Zack Greinke got jobbed. This is not a slight to Roy Halladay, who might be the best pitcher in the game, but come on, Greinke earned this one. I am just nitpicking, this is probably a better match up, but it would have been nice to see a kid who earned a start in the ASG make it.
The line ups were set by voting, except for Victorino starting in place of the injured Carlos Beltran. Looks like its shaping up to be a decent game. After all, THIS ONE COUNTS! Ugh.
