For some reason I doubt this. Yes, Ricky Romero is having a RoY type campaign and yes, Toronto is essentially out of contention for a Playoff spot due to their division rivals, but if you have ever been to a game in Toronto you know one thing...Roy Halladay is GOD (and the CN tower provides no shade on a sunny day because it is an 1800 foot toothpick). I seriously doubt this is going to happen, but I'm not Ken Rosenthal and I have been wrong many times before. It certainly would make for one hell of war between some clubs with deep prospect pockets. One would have to think that heading the list are the Yankees and Red Sox, followed by the Phillies and Dodgers. Dark Horse: White Sox (who used up a few luck points when Peavy said no).
As a Red Sox fan I am watering at the mouth of the possibility of sending out Beckett, Lester, and Halladay in a playoff series. Whoever ends up with him, their fans will be celebrating Christmas in July.
